Payment terms
Payment due within 7 days. Edited files are delivered on payment.
Net 7, not net 30 — event work is paid on or near delivery, and a month's terms on a wedding is a month of your money with someone else.
The shoot is done and the files are the only thing left
You have already spent the day and the edit before anything is owed, so the deposit and the delivery condition are the whole of your protection. The template puts the shoot, the edit and the delivery on separate lines, so a client can see what the day rate did and did not cover.
Withholding tax
Brand and corporate shoots are usually billed to a company, which means tax withheld at source. Individuals booking you directly normally do not withhold.
